Holiday at Home

Mom and Corey visited me last week, and I barely took any photos the whole time! Oh well, there's a time to document stuff and a time to just participate in your own life. We had a fun time. Here's a picture of my three favorite people at Tommy's store, Peruvian Connection:

Earlier in the week, I was trying to sort through years and years worth of photos. I have come to the conclusion that I tend to take photos of places I visit, but not a lot of people, or my everyday world. I want to try to do more of this, but I think that I am living in the moment so much, that I don't want a camera to interfere with my reality.

I always forget to take pictures of life. Since I've started blogging I'm a little better at it, but not much. It takes so much *thought*. I'm so glad you got a pic of Tommy with Corey and Mama Juje! Good night, is that boy still *growing*????

Hmmm. . . Al Gore? I think the plaid shirt emphasizes the resemblance. Reality check for everyone: Corey Ware is 6' 3" and 33 years old.

I know. Sometimes I can't believe it either. . .

PS: He's also newly single if you guys have any ideas.

Oh, and I just have to add that Mom is wearing a jacket I bought With My Own Money when I was 15. (It went with a royal blue polo shirt and stretch-denim stirrup pants.) Yeah, 1985. Uh-huh, 21 years ago. She started wearing it around the time I decided it was like, out of style, and like totally embarassing. Probably 1986.
